Primary Medical Care
Primary Medical Care is provided by the staff of one physician, three nurse practitioners, and highly qualified medical assistants. All new patients are set-up with one of the expert HIV nurse practitioners for a medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. Two weeks later the patient will then see the physician to discuss the results of the physical examination and diagnostic tests. Most patients are then followed by the nurse practitioner for episodic visits and then at least once every 3 months they are required to see the physician.
